GOOD LUCK TO SIGNALGUY AND ALL OTHER NERDETTES & NERDS RUNNING THE BRO-STON MARATHON

Not a runner,  but a Boston-located rebel here.  Didn't get today off, so I'm up in Woburn at work.  Don't have any Rebel contacts in the city, so I can't speak for their safety.  Hope they're okay.

I know Seth and knightwatch are good. Hopefully everyone else is as well.

I checked with almost all my Boston buddies, all thankfully ok so far. I love FB at times like this.

Very glad to hear this... I am thankful I didn't have the day off today so I was in Quincy instead of the city... so far I don't know anyone that was at the finish line.  My condolences to all of the friends and family of those who were, and I hope everyone gets back home safe tonight.

I've been listening to this feed... if anyone is trying to find news.

I saw some footage that caught the explosions. It looked like the runners were relatively safe. It looked like the device was further back into the spectator area. Either way, I'm pretty shook up. Praying for everyone.

I'm hearing it was actually in the hotel, but yeah, looks like runners were fine.

Boston-based rebel here. Working today, though. People that I know who are running are okay. I don't know if I know of anyone who went to spectate. Quite surreal to see all the news reports, though. This is just awful. My wife called me shortly after it happened and said things looked bad on TV.

I really hate that I don't have Facebook at work... I know one person from back home who is there someplace and I have no way to check on her right now... work cannot get over fast enough.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone there right now, and so glad to hear that all our nerds so far are safe and sound.
