67alecto
Finally going to be able to cross Iron Maiden off the bucket list. Years passed when something got in the way...I'd be in Europe, they'd be touring the states (and vice versa), for example. A couple of years ago, they only played 1 or 2 concerns in the US (down in Tampa), and I had no vacation time to use. The following year, I had a ton of vacation, and they didn't play in the US.This year, I committed. They are playing 7 dates in the US this year, and I have tickets for the Kansas City show next month. My wife and son (11) will also be going. Beyond that, I lived in Chicago for 4 years while going to school, so I saw a lot of shows. Smashing Pumpkins (several times including a 500-ticket show a few months before Mellon Collie came out)Medicine x2Too Much JoyAlice in ChainsScreaming Trees x2Joe SatrianiLiveBig Audio DynamitePublic Image Ltd.Blind MelonThe FrogsThe Offspring (backstage passes, too)MegadethSlayerEric Johnson x2RushThe CureScatterbrainBruce Dickinson (one of his solo tours)REO SpeedwagonCheap TrickRattWeird Al (amazing show)Def LeppardPoisonLita FordTommy CastroEric Sardinas (x3) Probably several I'm forgetting, plus numerous regional blues artists, indie bands that never went anywhere, etc. Quote Repairing a lifetime of bad habits... Jamin
I've seen P.O.D., Three Days Grace, and Shinedown in Lexington last February. My first and only concert as of now. It was pretty sweet except some punk rubbed gum all over my windshield and I had to drive all the way back to Louisville with a funky kaleidoscope looking window. Quote Link to comment
