n3o Posted December 19, 2013 Report Share Posted December 19, 2013 Howdy people, greetings from Jakarta Indonesia (=been hovering this awesome site for a few weeks; BIG THANKS to Steve!!I've finally decided to join the rebellion!! brief history:I'm 30ish male, 100+kg, 1.8 meter, webmaster, game-freak; been overweight since childhood, love food too much..started 'being healthier' 5 years ago, was on paleo for 2 months (bout 2 years ago) but wasn't able to sustain the lifestyle; it did change my mindset on eating more 'real food'started Intermittent fasting 4 months ago, extensive exercising last month (getting used to body-aches!!) current goals (til Jan '14):replace 5 meals a week with 'fruits only meal'exercise every morning (currently starting Insanity program)1 pull-up by end of Jan '14 ultimate goal:cosplay as Luffy from OnePiece coz he's freaking awesome!! and of course.. (= lots of good food and historic placesLuffy is amazing, I love his enthusiasm for adventure and food!! hahaha I did the 'fit test' this morning and it totally floored me.. these cardios are no joke..gonna tough it out for two weeks and re-evaluate!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Haha one year during college a few of my friends and I decided to try insanity... at the end of the fit test we were all sprawled out on the ground thinking "my goodness, what have we done..." Keep it up! I've known a few people to quit after that first day, so it's great to hear that you're going to power through! n3o Posted January 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2014 Thanks everyone!! didn't have internet at home (repented geek (= ) updates:3 days of insanity workout and my body couldn't take the pressure, body ached so bad it was hard getting out of bed.switched back to body weight exercises everydaydownside was sis was in town for the holiday for a week and ate waaayyy too much..gonna take my 1st challenge!! excited about it!!
