I like it for a stand alone from the books. However, we are never going to have a satisfactory ending to the books now, why couldn't he just finish the saga and have an ending to the characters, then whatever happens in the show happens. You can't have the show and then the book. IDK???? :disgust:

I liked the first 4 seasons, but after that some of the plot lines got weird, to put it nicely. And some characters having obvious plot armor annoys me (looking at you, Ramsay.) I'm done with the show for now. I prefer to binge watch. :D We'll see If GRRM ever finishes the books.

5x5 dips, while waiting for gym buddy.

 

Not a lot to say about this workout, just really making a mindful effort with form on all lifts ( Thank you @Brovatar Korra for OHP help ). I did however manage hook grip on all Deadlifts, even the 106kg, which I usually do the alternate grip, my thumbs now really hate me. Cool down included sweeping the verandas and chopping wood. Damn red gum is fucking hard!

 

Feeling a little meh about this but I just need to remember it takes time to adjust. Still thinking on accessories.

Drove to Perth in the Ambulance yesterday to drop it in for a service, took Roly to the airport for work, hung out with Son1 and Son7 and little Brother, when Son1 finished work. Pizza and Deadpool.

 

Pick up the Ambulance today and go home. 

 

Listening to Son7 (8) playing video games with Little Brother (42), they share a common language, Mario Brothers!

Spent most of the day with Son5 in Harvey for his schools open day. Gave me some ideas for this place! Came home and did workout before going to Gym Buddy's house warming. Missed out on a feed because Son7 wasn't feeling well, so sat with him, before calling it and coming home.

That sinking feeling in your heart when your partner says to call the ambulance because on of your sons has been in a car accident.....................even worse when you are the attending officer on call and you have to go to the accident................even worse one of your sons is also on call and will be attending his brother.............what a fucking day!

Really Proud of Son3 who was in accident, the police and witnesses say he did a fantastic job in minimising what could have been a multiple fatality crash!

 

Really Proud of Son1 who kept his cool and was a rock to the other casualty when he could see his Brother struggling. He did everything he was asked and did a really good job!!!

 

Really Proud of Dad who was on scene seconds after crash and managed to help out and just be there for everyone!

Oh Seven, what a dreadful thing to happen!!!  So glad to hear that your family are ok, and have held up their responsibilities so well.

 

I'm guessing from this scenario that you live in a smallish town, don't you?  :)

But yeah we live in a small town. The conversation with Son1 when he joined the Ambulance was about being prepared to deal with people he knows or worse yet his friends. Yesterday though he did so well, he was able to keep his causality calm and protected when the Fire and Rescue had to cut the car away from the patient. Being in Fire and Rescue himself he was able to explain exactly what was happening. The causality was an elderly lady and he was so gentle with her, just really nice to see young people getting shit done!
