    • I just learned what Remorhazes are yesterday and it makes me so happy that I understand this entire story! Congrats on surviving and leveling up!   That mug is so pretty!
    • Thank you! The light playing on the water is so captivating for me. This feeling of not liking photos of myself is new 😬 I don't like it. But we do look sweet!!    I love that. It's so true.    I have so many pictures but I think for the first time ever I'm experiencing the feeling of not wanting to share every photo or video with acquaintances. And feeling a bit sad when I look back on them. I'm sure one day I'll appreciate them more.    You are welcome 🤗
    • Dredge! It's like a fishing exploration game.
    • *Hugs* Big thoughts. We are here for you. 💜
    • Thanks, Ever.    Thanks, RES.      Hi Friends!   I think there is a chance something is wrong with our mail. A few parcels seem to be missing and I am not sure what is going on there. I am really hoping that it’s a weird coincidence and things are actually just taking longer than normal, but I have concerns. We had our mailbox broken into a few weeks ago and it feels like things have been off since then.    Today has been a really decent day. The whole weekend has been pretty good, actually. After my Breakthrough call we spent yesterday doing some house and yard work: Dave mowed the front and back and pooper scooped while I cleaned the living room and dining room and got all of that sorted out. Then I ran the Halloween game for Seb and Chantale and we just had so much fun laughing together. This morning was slower with coffee and Bujos and Tarot, then we started getting the spare room all sorted out for Dave’s coworker who is coming to stay with us for two weeks. We ended up needing to buy a curtain rod and a new set of sheets for the bed, but the room looks really nice now. We changed where the bed was and I dusted everything and put the beautiful quilt on the bed because it matches the curtains we put up. I am very happy with it in there right now. By time we were done that I had just enough time to tidy the main bathroom before the Sunday D&D game. We had such a ridiculous, hilarious session that saw us charming mammoths, entering an Obelisk, sliding down Remorhaz ice tunnels, fighting two Remorhaz (in separate encounters, thankfully), and discovering an epic haul of loot and seven eggs. We decided to take the eggs because our Barbarian Hakki told us they could be hatched and trained (and he rolled a Natural 20 on the check so Dave (our DM) took liberties with Hakki’s backstory and said he had been his tribe’s Remorhaz trainer before he was banished). The session ended with the first egg hatching and the baby imprinting on Hakki, so it starts. We *DEFINITELY* should have died in the second Remorhaz encounter. Like absolutely, 100%. We just got wildly lucky that Dave failed three con saves for the Remorhaz and it turned to stone as a result of Sadaf’s spell. Everyone was thinking TPK. It was wild that we survived and then wilder that we went on to collect loot and eggs. What a ride. I even levelled up! Level 6, baby!   Les and Martin brought me back the most gorgeous mug from the Canadian Museum of History: it is teal and has a black and white Haida octopus on the inside of the mug:       It will definitely add to the “living my life beautifully” quotient. ❤️    We are under water restrictions right now which I am definitely using as an excuse to not do my dishes. We have been restricted since Thursday night. I finally washed my hair in the sink this morning because it was so gross I couldn’t handle it, but otherwise the only water we have been using has been for flushing toilets (we drink bottled water so our drinking water isn’t coming out of the town supply). I was really hoping to do laundry this weekend, but that is against the conserve water order. I am not out of clothes, but I have a growing pile that could afford doing building up in my room. We will figure it out. Hopefully the restrictions get lifted this week, otherwise we are taking laundry to Regina when we go this coming  weekend and doing it there! 😅 It’s a bit like watching people navigate the Covid restrictions: there are definitely people who are doing their best and definitely people who don’t care at all and aren’t bothering. Humans. What a spread.    I hope that you have a beautiful, familiar, or comfortable vessel to have your next drink out of. Thanks for being here. ❤️
