  1. Still good that you're going though, even if timing turns out to be shitty I think (hope) you'll feel good because you've done something anyway. *all the hugs*
  2. I know that feeling #ranger
  3. Re: mediation, I personally don't find a lot of benefit in traditional meditation either (although it is possible I haven't given it a fair go). What I find works for me to clear my head and think is to go out for a walk. Some people describe running as their meditation, whilst others soak in the bath. I just wanted to say that if your finding it difficult then remember mediation doesn't have to mean sitting cross-legged on the floor with your eyes closed.
  4. I think I see what you mean. That's seriously odd though.
  5. That's exactly it, it's really important to be able to say "this isn't working, time for a new plan" without judgement, so really good on you.
  6. Sounds like you've got a good plan to start working towards this, I will of course be following along to offer my support
  7. Hope you made your class last night! Well done on battling the Cheese Boss, he's a tough one but you'll get him!
  8. Reminder set; will book mine in my lunch break when I have access to a computer.
  9. Yes, I'm hiding in the warriors ranks this challenge! Welcome! I did not hit it (the gym!) this morning I'm afraid Wolfman . Alarm was set but when I woke up I though "no, you had a late night last night, just go on your usual gym day tomorrow". Then when I woke up an hour later I realised that I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, so I can't go then either! Mission for next week: trust the damn plan and get up whether I feel tired or not! Snooker was last night, hence the latish night. Afterwards I did find time to squeeze in making breakfast and lunch and a bit of washing up before bed, so that felt productive at least. Stats at W3D3 Eat - i. 2/4 - ii. 1/4 - iii. 3/7 Sleep - i. 2/7 - ii. 3/7 Lift - 0/3 Like it - 2/7 Daily Dare Score - 24 The Captain - 21/30
  10. Woo, well done on that! You're already through the hardest bit - you can do this!
  11. Ne'er a truer word spoken friend. I'm glad you found me too! Thanks for the support dude; alarm will be properly set tonight and I'm getting in that gym tomorrow! (I've never actually seen this show, I just wanted to look cool)
  12. Yeah. I'm usually pretty good about it to be fair, just tiredness and beeryness got to me I think! Of course I could just buy a cheap clock radio alarm!
  13. I've got a radio alarm app, which works off the media volume and can't override the volume control. I like having the radio in the morning, but that is a draw back!
  14. Well... As a Brit, I can confirm that we do not underrate our tea. I wouldn't worry, if you have space you will find a way to fill it. It's basically an extension of Parkinson's Law
  15. Absolutely! I actually took a lot of care in setting the time, but the phone was on mute so when it went off nothing happened!
  16. No worries dude, but definitely go in for the local mudder, you'll rock it!
  17. Thanks! Yeah, you're right, although it's not perfect it's not too bad either. And steal away! Daaaaaaaawwwww... *ahem* Thanks, yeah, I hope it was the right call. To be fair as I can't go back in time and change it it will have to be! Hah, but on the other hand it's great to get excited about your lifting! === Yesterday was a good day, although the networking drinks afterwards lead to pizza and not a lot of goals being dealt with. The worst thing I did however was I didn't set my alarm properly, so I missed the gym this morning. Very annoyed about that; I need to make a plan to go at least twice this week.
  18. Late to the party! Looks like a really solid plan for your work goals, it already makes it look like you are on top of your shit!
