Mortimer
Yeah different people get different effect for 2nd jab and 2nd jab generally side effects are worse. We had the whole range of fever, diarrohea, fatigue and what's not for our entire office. Quote Link to comment
aramis
African heat hit Europe, so for couple days already we have 30-ish Celsius temperatures. Forecasts say this heatwave will be here for couple next days as well. Wife got an idea and we went to nearby lake and rented two kayaks. Each od us took one kid and we paddled for an hour. Mortimer
But but but it's summer with a heat wave and...hail...how? Can you get the wood required to patch your roof? I guess you'll need to be realistic and have no workouts until you fix your house =( At least no one got hurt... Quote Link to comment
aramis
Yeah, in our climate extreme heat often leads to extreme weather - thunderstorms, hail, tornadoes, hurricane winds etc. It has something to do with cumulonimbus clouds but I don't know the precise science about it - in this part of the globe it's normal getting hail in the summer. Hail. Most times - pea sized or smaller. Not spiky ice tennis balls... I managed to patch the roof up. For now we wait for someone from local authorities to check on our roof damage - we have a chance for some compensation from social department. After that I will be looking for a professional to take our roof apart and put on new one. It already needed replacement even without this damage, but we planned it for next year. aramis
Jul. 3rd 1x7 + 5x6 each side Overhead KB press (16kg) 3x10 dumbbell reverse straight arm fly (3kg) I'm starting a new experiment. I will try TKD (basically - pre workout carb loading) and will see if it works for me. Today I started with 12g simple carbs 30min before workout. It may be wishful thinking or placebo effect but I have a feeling it helped with latter sets. The carb amount was still small enough I burned it right away - blood sugar level came back to my normal 75-80 range in about an hour from eating the glucose. Will do this for a week or two, then I will up the carbs and observe the results. Quote I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. But only with a dash of milk. Mortimer
I think carbs help your lifts. I find that after my impromptu refuels on weekends, my gym sessions are more productive. Well except for pull ups because I think the carbs add weight and screw up my pull ups, not to mention back to back long runs taxing my core strength... Quote Link to comment
