MEN ONLY THREAD part two

Recommended Posts

they'll allow a mechanical pencil though… just as deadly when forcefully shoved into an artery… just saying.

It's not about not being able to defend myself, I can do that without a knife, it's that I use a knife everyday for mundane tasks and it would just be weird not having one. Also the fact that I've been carrying atleast one with me everyday since I was eight has a lot to do with it.

One more thing, you're better of using a pen and going for the eye.

Great job guys' if you continue this talk, we will soon fly naked, looked in tiny cages and with chinese finger traps on our thumbs.

I reckon there's something dangerous to be made with a tiny cage and a Chinese finger trap, but I'll need to think about it a little more

The properly ordered mind is a weapon, everything else is a tool.  Grab a part of their anatomy, ear, nose, genitals, and try to twist it off.  Stick your thumb someplace soft and delicate.  Grab the nearest hard/heavy thing to hand and hit/poke with it.  Find something long and thin and wrap it around his neck, then pull tight.

offtopic, but… should someone let know spezzy that the thread is once more 150 pages? wasn't the reason part 2 was created had something to do with this many pages breaking down stuff? is it time for part 3 of the thread?

Yes, but other threads are well over 300 pages now, I think the forums are a little more able to handle long threads than they used to be.

I remember when the second thread got started, the reason Staci shut down the old one was that we had broken Tapatalk. At that time this was the longest thread on the boards, we were quite proud of ourselves for breaking the internet.  We did, however, note the irony of the MEN ONLY thread having a picture of a girl as the thread creator.

Let's be honest, spezzy is tougher than a lot of the guys on here. Can probably out lift most of us to.

I said we noticed the irony. I never said we were stupid enough to have a problem with it.

Fellow beard man here.  I went back and forth on beard vs clean most of under grad.

In my doctoral internship I worked for a Sheriff's dept and at one point they told me my full beard was not regulation because I had the same dress code as a CO.  For one day I sported the most glorious 70s porn star mustache you have seen.  The wife cut me off til I shaved.

As a Post doc I worked at a State hospital for Sexually Violent Predators and I noticed one of my clients with a diagnosis of Pedophillia paid WAAAYY to much attention to my babyface when I was clean shaven.  The beard has pretty much stayed since then with a few exceptions.  Like when it breaks 100F or the time my buddy found a tick in his beard... we all shaved that night.

Oh to anyone who carries a knife..please research before traveling to New York.

I work in NYC and carry a pocketknife every day.

Stay away from assisted opening knives.  Don't clip your knife to your pocket, if a cop sees it he can hassle you about it, but if it's in your pocket he doesn't know about it.  Be careful about taking it out to use it in public.

Bear in mind that if the cop can flip your knife open, it meets the definition of a gravity knife, which is verboten.  Darn few knives won't pop open if flicked hard enough.  So better he doesn't know you have it.

Knives where the blade locks open meet the legal definition of a switchblade (I have no idea how they made that jump).  Having had a few knives close on my fingers, I prefer a locking knife.  That's all I have to say about THAT.
