Jessikuh Posted May 30, 2014 Report Share Posted May 30, 2014 My goal is to lose 100 pounds. I've been working at it (on and off) since the beginning of the year. As of a few days ago, I'm down 25 pounds, thanks to NF and some good ol' fashioned willpower. I kind of don't feel like I've lost any weight. I still look at myself in the mirror and see myself 25 pounds heavier. I still wear my fat (well.... fatt-er) clothes, and I've caught myself a few times thinking "wow... this shirt is really stretched out' as opposed to 'this shirt is the same size it always has been, I'm just smaller'. So I took some pictures tonight. I'm a pretty happy camper. Same shorts, same bra, same brand/size cami (just a different color).Those shorts were my favorite, I used to wear them all the time, and now they just kind of hang off of me. I know exactly what you mean in your second paragraph, I've had 90lbs to lose since last Oct and I'm almost 3/4 of the way there, yet I also sometimes feel that I haven't changed THAT much, yet all my clothes are extremely loose now. I think the feeling of not experiencing much physical change comes from all the loose skin/flab, but in time it a whole loada toning and keeping consistent will help with that feeling for both of us I'm sure! Over 40 pounds down and I still can't really tell the difference just looking at myself. Instead, I look at the pile of clothes I have to donate because they're too big! Keep it up!!
