A small woot. A wootette if you will

This might not sound like much and I certainly hope to have more epic woots in the future but today is officially the start of my second week of increased walking and the paleo diet. I'm particularly proud of myself because even though I was sore from the beginner workout and it was only 18 degrees outside (New England ftw) I still made myself do it.  It's a small, personal victory but it felt good so I thought I'd share.

It actually is a pretty big deal something like this.  At this point you are beginning to transition from it being something you are "trying out" to something that becomes "a new habit."  Good job!

As Ajaxus said, it really is a big deal. It's the little moments like these, the small victories, that make us feel like we have what it takes to keep going and push through. Congratulations, and all the best on your goals.

A "small victory" can be the biggest. It is your first realization that you can do this. it is the drop that makes the waves of change. keep reporting your small victories and you'll look back and see that they got bigger and bigger.

Small successes are fantastic and cement good small habit changes!  Walking in 18 degrees?!  That's awesome and something I shiver just thinking about!
