    • Did a slightly more difficult walk (more textured with slopes and stiles). Doesnt sound like much but I'm rehabbing the sprained ankle and i keep getting “i cant do that, it will hurt” reflexes, even for things that are actually fine. So trying to carefully stretch the ankle a bit more (in a sensible way, obviously).  went well, ankle was fine with it. got my steps in and a nice view to boot.
    • Good morning, friends.   I was exposed to more of the public yesterday morning than I have been in the last month, and I think my poor system is overwhelmed. I am fighting off the crud (fingers crossed it’s not anything major), and so of course I didn’t go to the gym this morning. We’ll see how i feel this afternoon.   In other news, I set up another batch of apple-pear sauce yesterday, and it’s lovely.  I like making it without any spices and then adding whatever I’m in the mood for in the moment as I use it. On Tuesday evening, I used a cup of the previous batch with 3/4 c. Old fashioned rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, and a dash of cinnamon. I stirred it all up and set it in the fridge to do its overnight oats thing. I ate it around dinner time on Wednesday, and man, let me tell you it was amazing. If you’re looking for a vegan gluten free fiber-packed bit of yummy goodness, this satisfies (make sure your oats are from a gluten free processor if you are being mindful of gluten). I’m pretty sure the oats carried me through the morning, and I’m glad I had them.   This morning is housekeeping day so I got up and neatened enough for the cleaning while I made tea. I ordered a Covid test and I’m negative. I took some homeopathic cold-be-gone, and I have tea. Might watch Deadpool and Wolverine  solely for Electra.
    • Creating a productive work environment is key for any Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) office. Good office design can lift employee morale, increase efficiency, and boost overall productivity. To make your BPO office a space that promotes productivity, consider these simple and practical interior design ideas. Here are 15 ideas for boost productivity for your BPO Office: 1. Open Layout for Better Communication An open office layout encourages collaboration and communication among team members. In a BPO office, where teamwork is often key to handling various tasks efficiently, an open floor plan can help. Instead of having many small, enclosed offices, consider using a more open design. This setup makes it easier for employees to communicate with each other quickly and helps create a more cohesive team. 2. Comfortable Workstations Comfortable workstations are crucial for productivity. Employees spend long hours at their desks, so it's essential to invest in ergonomic furniture. Ergonomic chairs with adjustable height and lumbar support can help reduce back pain and improve comfort. Desks should also be spacious enough to accommodate necessary equipment and allow employees to work comfortably. Adjustable desks that can switch between sitting and standing positions can be a great addition. 3. Proper Lighting Good lighting is vital for maintaining productivity and reducing eye strain. Natural light is the best option, so if possible, position workstations near windows. For areas with limited natural light, use bright, adjustable lighting that mimics natural daylight. Avoid harsh fluorescent lights, as they can cause headaches and fatigue. Proper lighting helps employees stay alert and focused throughout the day.
    • Wednesday: failure at not staying up past midnight (conscious decision because I learned I could sleep in the next morning; I'm happy with the way things turned out)   Thursday: success at not staying up past midnight (well close enough for me to count it; this adventure did give me a reason to actually go to bed around that time, even if it was technically a few minutes late)
    • Here's my tracker spread for this training block. I track the individual runs and workouts in my weekly spreads but this helps keep track of progress over time.
    • Week 4 so far:   Workouts: 2 runs and 2 weights days. Went easy on weights today as I'm feeling run down (period or allergies or something)  I did earn new STR point on Monday though!  And I have a 4 mile run scheduled for Sunday morning so that will be a STA point too. Stretching only happened on Monday so far... I need to habit stack this with waking up in the morning otherwise it gets pushed to the side and forgotten. Cleaning with the kids is a mix bag this week. 😕 This week was crazy. My husband was working a lot and I'm feeling run down trying to cover all the bases and implementing challenge objectives. It is what it is and I don't want to beat myself up over it and I don't want to give up. We're celebrating my daughter's birthday this weekend and then we'll reset and get back to it.   Happy Fall y'all!!
    • My burn is very itchy. This is apparently to be expected. My skin is reweaving itself. But it itches.
    • 09/09: 160.2 09/16: 159.8 09/23: 159.2 09/30: 159.5   Forgot to post, but did weigh in on Monday.    Salty snacks are really getting to me this week! I need to get that under control but not likely to happen this weekend with daughter's birthday celebration and all the treats that go along with that.
