    • Day three:    ✅🔁🔁 Goal 1 -- Normally this would be Core HIT day and Friday would be Big 5 HIT day, but we're trying something new this week and combining the HIT workouts into one on Thursday. The rationale is to have just a little more recovery time between all the workouts.     • They are nuttier than the usual white mushrooms we gets everywhere and are great in stews, sauces or cooked on their own. We make this awesome chicken pasta dish with them i adore.     • Looks interesting definitely.    I can do comedy horror movies and older ones. But most of the new stuff (that isn't based on victorian gothic novels) is a bit chainsaw murder house for me.     • Week 5 Tuesday Stairs workout (+10 xp) for a melee attack. 20 to hit and 8 damage. Chopped more blackberries (and attempted to pull out a few roots, but they'll probably come back). Rolled a natural 20 on the dex check (total of 23) for the arrow attempt, so that's a success! Also, the first time I rolled a natural 20 with my dice! I think I'll wait to narrate that part though. It doesn't really make sense to be making arrows in the middle of combat. I've already decided I'll have to split the story next challenge because it will make even less sense with all the things I'm planning then.     • When they spin together fibres of different colours to create a slightly inconsistent final colour. Other yarns are spun first, then dyed.       Oh, I meant yarn is priced by gram, not meter. Yarn weight (aran, DK, sport) does correlate *roughly* to length, and it will also give you a rough idea of what needle size you'll want and how fine or thick the fabric will be. With experience you'll know roughly what the finished fabrics will look like. But for now, I'd say just choose a yarn of the same weight category as the pattern, then buy the amount in meters that the pattern says (possibly with a little extra to avoid running out).   You can recreate a pattern with a different weight, but there is some maths and fiddling.

    • Of course!   ?   That was very confusing to me. It still is. I can see the advantage of weight because it's much easier to measure. But it doesn't seem to translate to anything. It doesn't necessarily translate to a length or a yarn weight or anything really. But I also couldn't think of a good measurement as there's so many factors involved in determining how much yarn you need. In the end it seems to come down to XP.
