First full push up

Hey Everyone!

 

This is my first post on these forums and I'm happy it's a Woot! :D

 

I haven't been able to do a full push up (not on knees) since I was a kid so I'm pretty stoked with this. And to take it even further I managed to do a second one straight after!

I tried for a 3rd but got stuck at the bottom :tongue:

 

To put this in perspective I weigh 115kg (253lb) so I'm rather 'chunky' at the moment.

I've been going to the gym with my buddy for the last 6 weeks and it's really paying off. We've been doing a bodybuilder style workout with a different body area each day of the week.

I lost 2kg in the first 4 weeks and then cleaned up my diet to a mostly paleo style (still have dairy) and I've lost 3kg in the last 2.5 weeks :D

 

So that's my first Woot! for the board. It's a bit of a double whammy really, push ups and weight loss.

 

I look forward to posting more progress in future.
