Cat in the rack
Saw something peculiar in the gym today. Two guys came in together, chatting and whatnot, then each took a rack next to each other, set up benches in each of them, and did bench presses with the same weight next to each other. If the gym had been a little busier I'd have thought they were being selfish, but there was never anyone waiting to use one of the racks that I saw while they were there, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they would have used one rack if it were busier. Also, I'm just gonna bring a towel to the gym from now on, they haven't yet fixed the AC and I'm not enjoying getting sweat over my arm every time I wipe my forehead after a lift, plus it's common courtesy to wipe down benches and whatnot if you get your sweat all over it, which I have been. Cat in the rack
This didn't happen in my gym, but rather my gym away from gym, aka my home. Thrown a party, it's about 3am, quite a bit of drinking and so on, when a chin-up contest arises. Naturally being the only one there who actually goes to a gym regularly I won, but the peculiar thing is, on an evening where it was late and I was tired and I'd been to the gym earlier the same day, I hit a new chin-up max by an extra 2 reps. Perhaps all workouts should occur during times like this 6 Follow me on snapchat or instagram @ catintherackSquat: 115kgBench: 77.5kgDeadlift: 130kgTotal: 322.5kgWeight: 68kg Link to comment
