Starting out and kind of lost

I've just stumbled onto this whole idea and I love it. I'm motivated to become something more than what I am. My whole life I have felt like I wasn't living up to my potential and something inside burns for more, I just don't know what is. My family is pretty much all deceased. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict and don't have much in the way of positive support of people around me. I need help. Can anyone help point me in the right direction of how/where to start, how I could connect with people who can help? I'm kind of overwhelmed with all the content on the site, I just joined like an hour ago. Any assistance anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I'm not even sure what class I would fall under. I want to live a life of adventure, I am interested in meditation and spirituality, I want to get in good shape and be athletic and agile...I'm kind of all over the place and need some guidance. Someone help please

Hi! Son't worry about feeling lost, most people do when they first join. I'm sure you'll get the feel of the forums pretty quickly

If you're looking for people to connect with, you're definitely in the right place! 

 

Currently. you don't have to worry about guilds. Some people find one they like right away, but most don't. You would currently fall under the class of 'Rebel', where there are other people starting out in the journey with you.

 

One of the main things for the forums is to encourage each other with challenges. These are 4 week quests that you will tackle in order to build helpful habits. Taking this slowly will allow you to build a healthy and sustainable life. We are nearing the end of a challenge right now, so feel free to take a look at the forums and decide on a couple of habits you would like to try. Next Sunday, there will be a new challenge out that I will link to you, so you can join. But feel free to say hi over at the Juice Bar, or or around the other guilds.
