My only goal today is not to go batty berserker shitposting on Facebook at old co-workers who are doing a *~~*~**~Beachbody Three Day Refresh~*~**~**~*~*~ with their ShAkEoLoGy and something fiber something and eating 900 CALORIES OF FRUIT AND VEGGIES DAILY, that's all, no carbs (aside from veggies natch)(but let me tell you they don't even realize VEGETABLES have c a r b s zomg), no protein (oh wait that's in the teehee shakeology i hate that word shakeology btw got dang, p.s. mah dude getting a measly 40g of protein per day from your shakes makes me roflmao)

Phew, hoo boy does nutritional misinformation get me heated. Injustice. Granted though these are the people that don't really know the definition of a carbohydrate or calorie and how they work in your body, and are content to be led around by the nose by what the Popular Diet tells you and look at the 5% of people that got results because they are already hardworking and dialed in to what they eat every other day besides the 3 you are filling your flesh sack with shakes and peapods alone.  IT'S SO EASY THO, of course, lazy loserfaces.

You know what the saddest part is, the SADDEST PART, is that it won't work for them and they will just be all, "Oh, it must be my metabolism isn't good enough/gluten allergy/insert bumfuckery excuse here" and they won't even realize it's just not... how that works.

The root of it is that's the easiest path. Rather than dust yourself off and try something else, far easier to choose to be helpless. You can't change your [insert physiological process here].

Yeah, recycling stuff every 4 weeks got stressful/boring/to be a chore!!  I'm being lazy here.

 

I thought of you the other day; there is a challenge in my latest video game to eat a giant burger, then move on to a bigger burger, and an even bigger burger.... I haven't been able to do it because my Guts stat is too low!!!!!

This is my mom in a nutshell. About nearly everything. It's so frustrating I could keel over. The number of times I have heard "I wish I could" associated WITH STUFF SHE CAN DO is too high to count effectively, and it's both angering and saddening because (while she's a special unicorn with amazing genes and will probably live forever anyway*) all I ever see is her health slowly decline in ways that could be helped. I've been hearing her "but I can't's" for so long that I remember it from when I was just 5 years old.

 

*She's 75 this year, smoked for 28 years, has never been remotely active, tries fad diets for 3 days before announcing catastrophic failure and that she's a special case where it's just impossible, has had Type 2 since the 90's along with hypertension and high cholesterol for just as long, still in relatively decent/expected health for a 75 year old woman. vOv I hope this means I live to 110?
