  1. So we good for Sauced on Paseo then? Looks like they do have veggie options in the way of salads and some appetizers. http://www.saucedonpaseo.com/menu/ Should be fun! 2912 Paseo Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73103
  2. Got another option, if you guys are down with it. Cheaper than Scratch and in midtown, although probably not as healthy. It's a pizza placed called "Sauced on Paseo". A friend of mine says they do open mic poetry on Wednesday evening, and he stated that he'd probably be doing some! He's a pretty badass poet, as well as a chef! I had invited him to come out with us Wednesday (he's a nerd too, and is a kendo master!) and he recommended this. Anyhow, throwing that out as an option for Wednesday.
  3. Let us know man! We don't have to go to that Scratch place. It's fairly expensive. I'm down with hitting that McNellie's place again for the cheap burgers or even Starbucks or Subway or something. Haha, I just like to hang out with people.
  4. We don't have to go someplace to eat. We can all go and hang out in a park or someplace cheap like a Starbucks or something.
  5. We can reschedule. It's next Wednesday anyway, not this Wednesday. When would work best for you David?
  6. I'm down for anything. I doubt I'll be able to do anything TOO strenuous though. I'm going to be logging some serious miles on Tuesdays.
  7. So, I'm looking for different places that I've personally never been to that could also be relatively healthy for a bunch of fitness dorks. I have found two places in Norman that sound nice. Do you guys like Indian food? There is Misal of India. I love love love Indian food and the menu looks pretty cheap. At least, cheaper than we normally do. There's also another place that sounds interesting. It's called Scratch. It says they make everything they serve from scratch (hence the name) right there in-house. That could also be a good place for Nerd Fitness, since whole natural foods is highly advocated here. It's a little more expensive though, as expected. Let me know what you think, or if you guys have any suggestions!
  8. Unless I made a bunch of different bogus accounts so people would feel safe and then I could entice people to come out so that I can eat them. Uh... I mean... you. If you made accounts. Not me.
  9. Another good time in Oklahoma for the NF crowd! Man, it'd sure be nice if some new people came! I get tired of staring at Donar Vadderung everytime!
  10. Wednesday, July 9th at 7:30pm DAS BOOT CAMP! 229 E Main St, Norman, OK 73069 Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting to tell everyone that we all went to boot camp!
  11. Some more woots! I have lost a total of 150.6 lbs, so I'm thrilled with that! I'm 3 weeks into my full marathon training. I ran a 5K that I did last year on Friday and busted a new 5K record: 25:19! I also scored myself a sub-8 minute mile! Here's a before and after of that race!
  12. I've only ever driven through there. I'm sure there's lots to do though!
  13. Great! Then we can tell everyone we're going to boot camp and let them assume that means we're all doing pushups instead of shots!
  14. So, next time do we want to do Das Boot Camp or try for something healthier? Or at least something more agreeable to peoples' various diets? I'm generally good with anything. I do my long runs on Tuesday, so I'm usually pretty safe to shovel whatever I want into my mouth on Wednesday. Haha.
  15. Here's me, after one of my social group runs!
  16. I usually have a Clif Builder bar, a banana, and some nuts.
  17. So, Wednesday June 11 at 7:30pm at Royal Bavaria! Prosit! 3401 S Sooner Rd, Moore, OK 73165
  18. Not me. I have a hard enough time figuring out my own schedule!
  19. Yeah, June 11 is good with me! Ideas on where? We want to do Royal Bavaria? Or try something healthier?
  20. Hey, I'm going to plug this again: If any of you running Okies are interested, Red Coyote Running & Fitness have a run called the Pack Pint Run every Thursday night at 6pm at their store in Classen Curve. It's a free fun run, with free Coop Aleworks beer at the end! Can't beat free! The run is a fairly flat 5K run through Nichols Hills. This is their address: 5720 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118 ALSO! Every Monday night at 6pm at Bluff Creek Park (corner of Meridian and Hefner Rd), there's a group that meets up to do a 4 mile trail run called the Dirt Dogs. I go to both and have a great time! The Pack Pint Run usually has a ton of people, but the Dirt Dog Run usually only has about four or five people.
  21. Welcome to One-derland! It's a beautiful place!
  22. No, it's not 21 over. It's a restaurant
  23. I -completely- understand. It's weird how mentally, I still have the spatial awareness of a 323 lb dude. I look at booths and pants and think that there's no way I'll fit! Also, I learned from hiking and rock scrambling last weekend that my balance sucks! I think it's because my body is used to overcompensating for so much weight that no longer exists! Our minds are weird things.
