    • W4D2 - one DrP.  I finished off the potato chips in the morning, then lunch was leftover pork chops with mashed potatoes.  For dinner I made a pepper-steak stir fry over rice using some ribeye I found marked down.  I think I had a string cheese for a snack in the afternoon, I can't quite remember.  MFP says 1973 for the day, but I wasn't particularly stringent with my measurements.   Move was good, I did two BBWW circuits and most of a third before cooking dinner.  I forgot to stretch, but it doesn't seem to be too bad so far this morning.   I took the day off work to get some admin stuff done during business hours.  Somehow I was busy all day without accomplishing as much as I'd have hoped, but I did get a few things ironed out.  It was Butch's first day back to homeschool, and he did a great job with his studies.  In the afternoon I drove him to volleyball, then I ran some errands of my own (haircut, oil change, car wash) before heading back to the house and getting back to it.  I made a little more progress on rearranging the kitchen, but there's still a lot to do--Amber had way more stuff than I'll likely use.  After dinner I took a break to catch another sermon (Luke 12), then I pulled out the guitar and decided I'm going to learn Fleetwood Mac's "Never Going Back Again" because it's a lovely tune and a good way to practice Travis picking.  I worked on that for awhile, then I framed some photos of Amber and me to hang on my office wall and did a little woodworking in the shop.  Later on I played a bit of Rocket League then went to bed and prayed gratitudes until I fell asleep.  I have a lot to be thankful for, even the pain of searing loss that I know better than I ever wanted to.  It's helping me to understand more fully the magnitude of what Jesus endured for us--only He did it willingly.  My heart has been praying His prayer a lot over the last few months:  "My Father, if it's possible then let this cup pass from me, nevertheless not my will but Yours be done."  I'll stay open to whatever He has for my future, even though I still hope and ask that it's a brief and intense period of kingdom work followed by a swift call Home.
    • I must do what I can to preserve what precious little sanity I have left.  I know in my heart of hearts that rule #34 is true, no reason to test every instance.
    • OMFG I’ll be sleeping with the lights on for WEEKS after seeing that tick snow globe! Why did I click through? 😂 😂    i can empathize about summer slipping away while one spends time on boring stuff! *cries in physio*
    • It's good that you're back on them and averaging good numbers, but 135/92 isn't that bad. It's not good either, but just not "OMG, this needs to be fixed NOW!" territory. 😇
    • ^ This, most of all, I think.   Which saddens me, as it's the format I'm most comfortable with...
    • And miss out on the "I KNEW IT!" sensation??? 😅

    • The only safe response to Rule #34 is to trust, but not verify.
    • In an effort to invoke Internet Rule #34 ("If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions."), I figured the term for this would be "genuphilia". Google confirmed with a LOT of hits about sexual attraction to knees... 😁 Don't worry, the links are SFW. 😇
