An interesting observation

As I'm getting into IF more and more, I've noticed that I've been hitting PR's all over the place on days that I fast. I'm wondering if anyone has some insight into this?

For me personally, there is a happy place where I haven't eaten in a while so I don't have food in my stomach to get in the way (cramping, sloshiness, etc.), but I have not gone TOO long without food so that I am distracted. This is where I do the best athletically. I work out in the morning early, without any food before, for just this reason.

I ama believer in intermittent fasting. I go for about 24 hours without food at least once a month, sometimes more often, but not longer. If I am eating right on the other days, I sometimes don't even feel like eating that day. It help me to realize that a lot of what I eat is just because of habit, not because I am actually truly hungry.
