Justme
Hello all! This is Just Me. I'm nothing spectacular except to my 4 amazing kids and my hero. My husband was injured in Iraq in 2009 and I have been his caregiver since then. I have been feeling lost lately and just realized that I have no goals for myself, so here goes! 1. Lose weight (currently 5'9" and 275lbs)2. Gain energy (4 kids and 2 dogs use up what little I wake up with)3. Change our diet (I think a lot of my husband's injuries are being compounded by a food intollerence and too many random drugs from the VA)4. Run in the Warrior Dash in March (Mud? FUN!) I'm excited for the challenge and support! Quote Link to comment
ZalatwicZach
Howzit, Justme I think that your definition of "Spectacular" is not the same as mine I think "Spectacular" when I read your post! You are your husband's caregiver AND you raise your four kids AND take care of your two dogs AND manage the household...that puts the rest of our efforts to shame! I can barely handle varsity What fitness and diet plan are you following? There are some great ones on this site! Fearkiller
How's it going along? You have any plans on how you are tackling your goals? That Warrior Dash sure looks like a loads of fun! Maybe if you buy some vegetables you, your husband and/or your kids like, wash and slice them and see if they get eaten? How old are your kids? Do they in general like helping you?"Look, mom, I washed/chopped this all by myself!"
