insanity Posted October 5, 2015 Report Share Posted October 5, 2015 Got in my truck, and as I pulled away from work I rolled the window down, I usually do this to cool off the inside to the outside temperature before rolling it back up and turning on the AC.... it is Florida after all. That was when a breeze that was the absolute perfect temperature hit my face, and I knew... it's that time of year again. Window went all the way down, radio came on, volume up to 11, hit the on ramp to the highway, powered through the gears, hit the highway with the sun on my face, the wind in my hair and singing along to the radio.... it was a gorgeous drive home. Had to wonder how many people are actually enjoying this, as opposed to just being pissed that they're driving home from work yet again. Also, pulled up to a light, and with the window down, kept singing ever with a truck right next to me. Her Instagram friend lives on Long Island, and they'd been planning on meeting in NYC/Central Park for a while, but neither of them knew enough about it to say where, so I said "The 'IMAGINE' Mosaic, Strawberry Fields, just off the 72nd Street crossover" It was an AWESOME day, all around Anyway, D'Girls were chitting & chatting about something, and ME [being the only Dude, as always - because I'm good with map-reading, decision making and carrying things] having some time to wait was just standing there, when someone asked "Excuse me, can you take our picture?" I gladly obliged [because I'm from JERSEY, NOT New Yawk] "Good on ya mate, thanks""Oh, I bet I can guess where YOU'RE from ..." So we had quick chat ... apparently they'd left OZ sometime Friday morning [their time] and arrived in NYC EARLY Saturday morning "And it's a small world and it's turning real fast"NYC is so beautiful in the Fall.
