Today is Day 1.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! Im Sean and today was my Day 1. Long story short I stopped hitting the gym and got a little overweight. I decided that today was going to be my Day 1 for a total renovation. Im sure why I picked this day because it was my first day back to school, new work schedule, and on top of it had to take someone to the airport at 4am. I was really starting to forget going to the gym today because it was going to be such a long day. My true NerdFitness kicked in and said DO IT and got to the gym. by 7am after being up at 3:45am and driving to the airport and back.

Now I am sitting at my desk at work and feel awesome that I got off my butt and did it. :victorious: I just wanted to share my happiness and introduce myself before heading off into the other sections.

Finding the "DO IT" has been about 95% of my journey so far. Now that I've found it, it has kept me honest and at my program every day of last week and so far all of this week (except Sat, my preprogramed day of rest). Good luck, and keep pouring strength into that part of you that screams at the heavens not I hope, not I can, but "I AM OVERCOMING."

There is a post on the main blog page about this. I have read it a few times and it has changed the way I think lately in my everyday life. Things like "Ill put the dishes away later." Then my "DO IT" attitude comes in and smacks the shit out of that attitude, and I walk over and put them away. Done, over with. I think the blog post was was called Priorities or something similar. If I can make time to sit my butt on the couch and watch a movie I better be able to make time to do the other more important things in my day.
