katpower
I'm organising a quiz night, and will be having a music round, where I play a cover and people have to name the song and original recording artist. So, I need some epic cover versions to make this round great! Last year the highlights were Hayseed Dixie, and some random Eastern European polka band covering Katy Perry... Tocho
ELÄKELÄISET! It's a Finnish band mainly doing covers of famous Pop/Rock songs. (Yes, they sing in Finnish.)I'm not sure if that's what you're actually after but yeah...Here's an example: Ash nazg durbatulûkÎα είσαι καλÏτεÏος άνθÏωπος από τον πατÎÏα σου▲STR 7 | DEX 11 | STA 6 | CON 6 | WIS 9 | CHA 5â–² Link to comment

Tocho
Also, Limp Bizkit has done "Behind Blue Eyes", originally done by The Who. The song is famous but not everyone knows that The Who originally wrote it, so it could be a nice question for the quiz. But really; ELÄKELÄISET. They've done so many covers. And they're all hilarious because they make no sense at all. Ash nazg durbatulûkÎα είσαι καλÏτεÏος άνθÏωπος από τον πατÎÏα σου▲STR 7 | DEX 11 | STA 6 | CON 6 | WIS 9 | CHA 5â–² Link to comment
blindasutsutsu
I personally like Disturbs remake of Shout...though they call it Shout 2000...not sure how many people know the original was done by Tears for Fears, I certainly didn't know the bands name just the song. Also they remade Land of Confusion (Originally a Genesis song) so that's a good one too. I should have more sorry just been listening to a lot of disturbed lately so that is what comes to my head.
