ejw220
Hello,Ever since i can remember, I've been a runner. From a youth track club in the late 70s to college and beyond. In the past handful of years it lost its appeal and I started putting on the weight. Now married and a father of 3 small children and quickly approaching 40 I decided to pull myself together in the hopes of being a healthy and strong father. Currently my workout of choice is Vinyasa yoga. Its been close to a year since I began and I am getting close to the body I had back in college. So why am I here?? Mostly to find a way to get to the next level, but I would also like to help anyone just starting out, anyone looking for some kind of inspiration. so...Hi! Erick the Red
I had a full year when I did vinyasa yoga in a class twice a week. It went really well, but my lack of flexibility started to frustrate me in the last months. I started to do more running, and did not have enough time for both. I still use yoga for warmups and stretches, and I would like to try out new things.I am at a similar life point as you. I hope you find what you need here in the forums. ejw220
Sorry, holdays kept me away from the site for a bit. Ahh the "next level" for me would be tackling advanced versions of the asanas. Holding the arm balances for longer, handstands, one legged crow. And always improving my breath.
