First ever Max lift attempts

Recommended Posts

So I've been doing crossfit on and off now for about 6 months and spanning 3 countries so I found I never really made it to a point where I had something to compare myself to. But last week for my 3 sessions we did one rep max attempts for some strength training and I'm pretty happy with how I did so wanted to put it up here.

I have a back squat of 185lbs which is my weight

my biggest was a deadlift of 265lbs

and I struggled but for my second attempt made a clean and jerk of 135lbs.

wooot! Well done! Starting off at a bw squat is great!

I spent 8 months travelling (for work and fun), so I know what you mean about getting a good comparison point. Each box has its own vibe and system, so you getting into a routine or strength cycle is a little tough. Which 3 countries did you get to crossfit in?
