Cliche Respawn

I know that New Years Day is such a cliche for starting over and getting things right this year but I'll post in the respawn anyway.  I completed my first challenge last round but during the break the holidays happened and my eating habits went out the window many of the days.  The new challenge will start Monday and I already have some ideas of what I want to work on to get focused.

 

On a side note I have an interview today for a new position in another department.  Currently I'm in casino operations which is 24/7 and on my feet dealing with people 90% of the time.  The new position is an analyst job off the gaming floor but is a Monday through Friday 9-5.  It will be a new set of challenges but lets me develop a different skill set, the trade off is that I'll be in a cubicle with a red Swingline stapler all day.  

 

I hope the Force aligns and helps me nail the interview for a new job on the traditional respawn day and sets things in motion for 2015.  Good luck to everyone else with their resolutions.

Well hopefully that interview wasn't the precursor for the year.  Pretty sure I bombed it.  The position was for a marketing analyst which would be checking profitability of promotions, break even points, and incremental revenue through events.  The last question they had for me was a copy of the employee dining room's income statement and, "What do you see?"  The best I could come up with is that they cost more to operate than they take in and it should be closed down, they knew I was joking but pretty sure its not what they wanted.  I was completely thrown off by it.  I've only taken 2 finance and 1 accounting class from undergraduate and grad school so I knew what it was and what the terms meant but had no idea what they were looking for.
