Hey folks!

My name is Al & I am pretty dang awkward (both in real life and online!). I'm a musician, a nerd (computer geek, band nerd, book nerd, etc.), and a gamer (think classic board games - not so much into computer games unless it's the original Oregon Trail!).

 

I'm here on a couple of quests.

 

Main Quest

Lose 60-ish pounds (I have already lost 60 pounds, so I'm halfway to my goal...I'm currently at a stumbling block, though, and need some support and accountability in my life!  ** See more on this goal later)

 

SubQuests

Do 20 push-ups (full-blown push-ups, not the on-your-knees kind)

Be able to beat my spouse at wrestling (this will prove to be a challenge, my spouse is IN SHAPE)

Be muscular/toned (** I don't have a specific weight-goal in mind, but rather, a body shape - toned, muscular, fit)

Be able to swim (I started working on this goal, but stopped halfway through)

Be able to bike 20 miles (My longest bike ride to date was 8 miles)

Be able to carry a fully-loaded backpack across Europe (long term goal here! I want to backpack/tent camp across Europe)

 

Additional Quest (For An Extra Life!)

Save $1,500

 

So...that's me and my quests in a nutshell! I'm gluten-free and dairy-free (Celiac Disease). I look forward to getting to know y'all!

 I'm exercising, because I want to get my stamina and strength. I enjoy medieevil swordmanship,  Tai Chi, yoga, aikido and fire spinning. I'm also a roleplaying nerd and a book worm. Let's fight the procrastination dragon!
