PolishRifle Posted May 27, 2015 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 I started running at the beginning of the last challenge 6 weeks ago my first runs were in the 13-14 minute/mile range and had to walk a lot. This morning I did a 10:45 mile pace for 3.2 miles and only stopped running when the dog needed to "Take a Break" I'm registered for "The Sweetest 5k on Earth" in Hershey Pennsylvania on Sunday. I'm hoping the adrenaline and excitement of an actual race can get me to a sub 30:00 time for my first 5k in 4 years and going from no exercise to 5K in 7 weeks. As a reward for my success I registered for the Swatara Township Superhero 5K on November 1st in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Its a $15 registration fee if you sign up in May.
