This sounds like a lot of fun, thanks for setting it up!
I've never had sarsaparilla, but having googled it I now want to give it a try if I can find it here for a not-stupid amoint of money.
I was more thinking this though:
It was an obsession of mine when the setting was dropping in 2003-2004. Shifters, magical tattoo's, steampunk and moral ambiguity - I'm in. Any house especially appeal to you?
I'm increasingly finding that more food is not more satisfying - having a really nice, small chocolate bar is great, and having 4 of them isn't any better because most of the impact comes from the initial taste and I stop tasting it after a few mouthfuls. I feel like the same might be true of fries.
Anyone else told they always had to leave a clean plate as a kid? ✋
Oh my god it's the first day of the challenge and I already can't keep up with this challenge thread. 😭
Here, take my gargoyle from the National Cathedral tax:

Before any other announcements, hammock weather is here, and it's more relaxing than you can imagine. Pic below has miss Elsie wearing a collar of shame, but just to prevent a lick sore from developing.
Killing my art goal for the month and clicking into satisficing mode with habits, because we jut got our offer accepted on the Polish flat in South Milwaukee. Now we enter into a flurry of packing and planning before a restful getaway on 5/22-6/1, a closing on 6/8, a move on 6/9, listing our current Racine unit for renter move-in on 6/15, and listing the basement apartment in Polonia for move-in on 6/15. Offer is contingent on the home inspection and there's a few possible dealbreakers, but I'm pretty comfortable with the process at this point. Pics in the spoiler below, our biggest argument we're all having with ourselves is whether we turn the sundrenched front room labeled "dining room" into an office/library.

My kids are hearing the summer sirens already and they don't get out til June 14 - I can't imagine how much harder it is to stay focused when you're a teacher!
Yay!! She finally got to wear it! 😂💜
