LOLOkay, I'll make it simple...here's who I am in real life....height: 5' 6"weight: 206fairly athletic and very competitiveI can run 2.5 miles straight Please help me! terrormortus Posted March 27, 2013 Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 Your race is something you decide for yourself, using your own judgement. If you're not familiar with the Dungeons and Dragons races then check out this page as it lists all of them. Then just go through and pick the one that most matches where you are physically. For example I picked dwarf for myself because they are rather heavily built, strong, resilient, and a little on the shorter side. Try reading the standard races first and see if any of them remind you of you. If not then start reading the others till something seems right. Race is just to add a little spice but it's not important and you can change it when you feel like it. I was human at first then became a robot, that's the magic . If you like running, what about a centaur? I have gone from Dothraki to God of Thunder to Furyan to Wizard (I have this whole story going on in my head about the transitions, and my challenges typically include a bit of it). When all this began, I even remember someone chose to be an Electric Plug as his/her race. I forget the gentleman in question, but I know the one you mean - it was actually an extension cord. I felt my half-elf choice was decidedly unimaginative after that! Athas is the homeworld of the Dark Sun campaign and one of my personal favorites.
