    • Starting weight- 239.25 26/3 - 240.75 2/4 - 240.25 9/4 - 237 16/4 - 239.25 23/4 - 238 27/4 - 237.75 (-0.25) 4/5. - 239.25 (+1.5) 14/5 - 241 (+1.75)   yes, well, That was kind of expected 🤦‍♀️. Screwed up my calories by almost 2 thousand this last week. Will try harder not to binge junk food going forward.  back to the return of the scales, as i think i need to be more exact about what I'm eating. Hoping that helps over the next few weeks    edit: just realised ive actually managed to put some weight on since we started this round. So annoying.  all i can think to do is just try harder to stick with the 1450kals.
    • Sorry to hear about the pre-diabetes mate, but good thing you caught it while it's still reversible at least. Hope it doesn't take too longer for your body to adapt to the lower sugar diet.
    • 😆 ok. Wrap your lugs around this. Total legends the both of them. Adore everything about this song       And without the commentary
    • Come find out   Monday 13 May Back to work, but only for a week and a half. Turns out I'm kicking off the summer holiday season and since everyone's getting 2 weeks off, I was asked for reasons of equality to clip 2 days off the original plan. No biggie, I'm still taking Thursday off to pick deffy up from the airport, working Friday, then we get the weekend to ourselves, working Monday again and it's off to the rest of our 2 week break. The downside is I need to really push myself in this remaining week and a half so I can be gone without any pending issues. It's about being professional but also because if I don't. there's a chance stuff will go tits up at my expense and/or I might get pulled back in to salvage something.   Gave myself the evening off as a rest day, because I was feeling really low on energy. It didn't make sense too, because I was straight in from Easter holidays and didn't exacly work that hard to justify my state. After some thinking, I decided it was probably lack of sleep (had less than my absolute minimum of 6 hours to be functional) combined with the shock of adjusting to a new eating plan of less carbs, less calories and longer gaps between meals (I guess you could technically call it fasting). Thus I went to bed early to catch up on sleep, but not before at least having a quick chat with my wonderful girlfriend.
    • Oh yeah, this is a goal. Thanks for the reminder!
    • Excellent challenge goals! Rehabbing injuries is an annoying but necessary skill.     Another approach that is not strictly limiting time (since phones are tools and replacements for other things, as well as distractions and toys, and hard to totally drop) is timeboxing phone use to certain times of day, which trains people to not reach for it out of habit or get distracted for long periods of time.
    • ONLY THE BEST PULP RADIO SUPERHERO EVER. (And the character Batman was, ahem, heavily homaged from.)
    • Week one: Did good on water; stayed on track for calories, Bible before screens.   Battling The Weekend Wolfer: Friday for date night we went out to Qdoba(Mexican fast food) I picked what I wanted beforehand and stayed within calorie range. I even saved room for a small bowl of ice cream. Saturday I kept it within my goals too.Sunday was a planned skip day since it was Mother's  Day. We ate at the same hamburger place I that we ate at before, only this time I allowed myself all the fries I wanted, and I had a bun. I still didn't eat all the fries, I ate until I was a little overfull, but not stuffed to the point of discomfort, so that was a win.    Friday night we saw the Northern lights. I had seen them once before, but not really well. This time, they covered the whole sky.The colors weren't bright, but I could see pink and green, and watched the lights dance.   Sunday was Mother's Day. After we ate, we went on a hike, then went for ice cream, then back to our house for a game. My son bought me an expansion to WIngspan, so we played that. The only bad part of the day, was I got two blisters on my heels.  They are not new hiking shoes. They were rubbing a bit, but it wasn't painful. But when I took my socks and shoes off, I had blisters. And the one on my right heel was big.    Today I skipped walking outside so I wouldn't pop my blister. I did a bit of indoor walking but not much. Did do my workout.    Next weekend is another day where I will eat more.  Sunday our church celebrates Pentecost. Everybody brings in international food, Anyway, I am going to enjoy it, and not worry about calories. But Friday and Saturday , I will stay on track, and Sunday the rest of the day I will track calories. I'll leave some cushion, so hopefully I will either be at maintenance, or just slightly above
