DareBee's Daily Dare is a great way to get in a little movement every day! Do you dare try these surprise movement snacks?

The goal is to try the suggested exercise every day. Need to adapt it for your needs? Go for it. Can't quite do the full count? Do what you can. Rocked the whole thing and kept going? Amazing! Did it go better this time than last? Share here that you tried and how it went. Drop a 🐝 if you tried and tell us how you did!

The first person here for the day may need to head on over to darebee.com to copy over the link. :)

I don't think I've got a 5-minute raised arm hold in me, but I'm going to try and remember about this thread this year and dip in when I can.

Also, I think @Chesire wanted to be tagged if this thread was coming back for 2024?

The first two exercises of the year certainly look like tedious ones... 😅

I quoted @Chesire in the old thread and put a link to this one. I figured that would be enough. But since there's nothing wrong with the Department of Redundancy Department, here's another tag: @Chesire 😁

I'm in... but I'll start tomorrow. CrossFit was strict press, ring rows and TTB work (I subbed beat swings and trying to raise my legs higher each round - side note, are your thighs meant to hurt when you do that?) so I doubt I have a 30 second raised arm hold in me, let alone 5 minutes! :P

Posting here mainly so I will be reminded this thread exists and that it's completely okay to do just one move on days when I am really not up for much else, because at least it's something and that is better than getting in the habit of doing nothing on draining days.

And i eventually managed five minutes.... in intervals with long breaks between them. :)

Yeah, I'll be doing this one. The original exercise made all my old shoulder problems twinge in reaction to the animation....

single leg hops  🐝  30 sec each side.  my knee did start to complain so I had to cut it short on one

Same here, but it was my feet complaining. I managed 15 seconds per leg, and will try to do another 15 seconds per leg later.
