    • It’s Wednesday already? It’s Wednesday already!     Belated Zero Week Roundup   Hahahaha NOPE   Run  Other movement 🌟 Meditate 🌟  Nature Appreciation  Unloved Hobbies   Bonus   Adventure runs  Posting/hype Photos    Running total: 2 🌟   That’s right, folks, off to a superb start! I don’t know, maybe I deserve a star for the Intensive Prep Session for Family D&D that ate any time I had not devoted to music. A lot of stuff that I’m usually very consistent with fell through this week. No run (slept late, barely made it to 10:30 rehearsal because I wanted to at least fit in my meditation, so there’s one win, then rehearsal ran FOUR HOURS, so by the time I got home I had just 2 hours to eat lunch and get dressed for a friend’s fancy 40th dinner). No nature appreciation or photos. My poor cat is mad, the weather has been pretty nice and I’m hardening off some plants to hopefully plant out soon and her piteous mews when I go out to bring in the seedlings and leave her INSIDE like a MONSTER…it’s heart-rending!   This week is off to a better start. Took a small group of kids swimming today, so that counts for Additional Movement. No ensemble practice this weekend so my Saturday morning run should be okay. I will make time for some nature appreciation tomorrow, it’s my short workday and the weather is supposed to be lovely.   
    • I was thinking of you and this challenge today - I think it's such an interesting focus. I scheduled my lunch at 12:30, but definitely was feeling hunger an hour before that (I appeased it with coffee 😬). Then later I had enough spare calories to eat after dinner, but I just wasn't hungry. I feel like it would have been easy to eat a bowl of ice cream to celebrate having a deep deficit, but paying attention to hunger made me reconsider.   Anyway, just letting you know I appreciate your challenge goals and your mindful approach!
    • Welcome back! A new 5-week challenge just started this week if you want to test drive your plan for a month+.  Also - friends who will say "come on bike rides" are the best kinds of friends! You are the sum of the people around you and those sound like good ones!
    • I guess it depends on how much you like reheated soup - for me, that would just end up getting freezer burnt as I ignored it. Nothing wrong with a goblin supper as long as you're hitting your rough calorie goals and not causing problems with inflammation for yourself! Maybe have some go-to goblin foods that are easy to store: boiled eggs, babybel cheeses, veggie chips, etc.     Adorbs! 🥕
    • Moving always makes me avow to be a minimalist. I'm just shocked at how much stuff we accumulate - right before I head to Target/Amazon/etc and buy more.    But I'm sorry that in your case packing is also dredging up feelings of insecurity and rough times. It sounds like therapy is helping you get perspective on it, but I hope you can schedule some self-care in there as well amongst all the packing. An orgy maybe? 😈
    • Curtains are for the win!!      Can I bossily suggest your next challenge is superhero themed?!    Between Hero Machine 3 and random doodles, it'd be fun to see nerds blow up your next challenge with homemade superheroes.
