21x4+24+1slow negative

I was thinking about it and this progression seems a little fast...

not nearly as fast as the 100pushups site, but I want a progression

that has plenty of wiggle room for other goals.

If I plateau I have this contingency plan :

same format but increase the number of PUs per set every other workout

and the day that doesn't increase just make sure to do more in the last set

The negative after my last set wasn't very hard...

On my max set I finished my last rep without trying for another because I knew it wasn't

going to happen. Next time I'll try whether or not I can. It'll tire me out more and build mental toughness.

I haven't done regular push-ups today but I was surprised by the amount of diamond push-ups I could do: 3*15 rep. Considering I couldn't do any until recently, I quite happy with my arms!

I'll resume the 100 push-up journey next week

this was a lot harder than my last one and my last set failed one rep earlier

I'm going to keep up my progression for now and if I stall soon I'll be adding more negatives at the end or more sets because this workout doesn't take as much out of me as it should.

Started week three today, and WOW it was difficult. I don't know why it was so hard, but I barely made it through.

Week 3 is where I hit the wall too. How did you fare in week 4? I'm starting that tomorrow.
