100 Burpee Challenge

I am in too!  I have done this challenge a few years go, it gets terrible from about day 65 on.  Are you folks going to keep updating this tread when you have done them for the day?

My rules for this challenge are a little different to the ones posted... The burpees must be done in addition to any workout or WOD and they must be done for time (no splitting). I'm obviously not timing myself for the first little while, because quite frankly turning a timer on for 5 burpees seems a little silly! I'm more interested in Day 20 onwards. I wonder if I'll be regretting this decision later on!! ha!

I was going to mention what TerraNik just said. If I end up doing 50 burpees for my workout or whatever, they do not count for the daily x burpees. I might regret this.

Mine is going to be a bit different and it's going to last a lot longer too. I'm starting on the 7th since there is literally no room for burpees where I am now (and outside is yucky) and I don't get back home until evening on the 6th. I'm also taking Sunday's off for rest. That will mean I'm not going to end this challenge on April 11. If done correctly, I should end on May 2.

Missing 2 days... yesterday and today.

Yesterday I HAD to rest, because my body was screaming at me... and mostly because today I went climbing... which left me dead enough to not want to do burpees (or anything else for that matter)

Hmm. I must've missed one day because I started on December 31st. But whatever, January 1st-April 10th it is.

I really didn't want to do the math for that...

you do 100 on the last day

99 on the day before

etc.

 

for the last ten days

 

100+99+98+97+96+95+94+93+92+91

=100*10-(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)

= 955

 

but the whole point of this challenge is not to see it as a sum total of some 5000 (the actual number is left as a exercie to readers) burpees, but rather a simple enough task (one burpee) coupled with consistency.
