You are not alone. That Germany PK almost gave me an ulser and the US PK, the wifey had to leave the room. #IbeleiveIbeleivewewillwin Quote May Br0din bless you with mighty gains, and may your shaker bottle always be full. Pavowski
Yes! I was very happy we were able to score a legit goal outside of the PK though. Morgan got fouled but it shouldn't have been a penalty. Still, everything changed after Sacic missed... And good god, just saw the end of the England / Japan match. My heart goes out to Bassett. Most heartbreaking way to lose a match I could imagine. Frost of the Gloaming
Yep we are a big family of US-NT followers; if we lived closer to where they actually played games we would probably be in the Outlaws Quote Between a rock and a hard place, use our finger nails to climb, it's all we know.......... Raincloak
That was quite a game. I fulfilled my long held desire to watch a football game in a crowded pub and have beer and chips and scream for my team. So worth it.I pity that Japanese goalie, she had an awful day. You could see grief written all over her. Wasn't entirely her fault, the defense just kept getting cut through by USA. I was almost glad when the US gave up a goal, spare Japan some dignity. But they won last time, so fair is fair. 1 Quote Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Hylian Assassin 5'5", 143 lbs. Half-marathon: 3:02It is pitch dark. (I'm just joking, please don't kill me!) Seriously, though, that sounds like a ton of fun, and it was a fantastic match! Go USA! Rooks
Wife and I turned on the game after 10 minutes. We were dumb-founded to see we had already missed 2 goals. When Lloyd hit the "half-court" shot... I was floored. Never seen anything like that, but I'm not a big soccer fan so who knows how frequently it happens. Super smart if the goalie is way up... just blast a high arching shot and see if you can net it. Quote Link to comment

Even though I'm American I persist in referring to soccer as "football" like the rest of the entire earth does. I'm hoping it will catch on. The world will conform to us, just like the women crushed them in the final. 2 Quote May Br0din bless you with mighty gains, and may your shaker bottle always be full. Wheymen ...and, if you die...
