Hi nerdfitness !

 

I've completed my 1st challenge at the begining of this week so I've decided to start loging my stuff. That seems to be a cool habit here :)

I'll post about what I eat, how I'm training, which game I'm playing and stuff like this.

 

A STORY

 

I'm a designer working in the videogame industry (for Ubisoft) since 2005. When I started, my weight was around 130 pounds. At the begining of 2014 my weight was at 191 pounds. Over 8 years I took 60 pounds ! THAT'S TERRIBLE. That needed to stop and change fast.

 

I started to workout and eat better on Jan 6th. I discover nerdfitness around Jan 14th and that was a total revelation.

I took all information I could find on this awesome website. I've learned stuff about bodyfat and I found a life goal. Be around 10-12% with muscle definition.

 

I started to eat paleo right away (you know Steve is really convincing ! haha)

I started to do bodyweight workout level 1. After 2 weeks, I changed to bodyweight level 2.

 

The goal for my 1st challenge  was to be at 175 pounds, from 191. That was not that easy for the melting was pretty fast, good for me :).
I've started my 2nd challenge on monday Feb 17th.

So I'll see how it goes.

Feb 19th

 

FOODS

Lunch: Homemade spicy chiken and vegetables soup

Dinner: Mix of spicy italian saussages with vegetables

Desserts: grape and honeydew

Drinks: Water

 

TRAINING

My girlfriend was already sleeping so I was not able to use the bar. So my workout for today was 3 sets of

 

16 pushups

20 dumbell rows for each arm (with a dumbell of 20lbs)

13 lunges for each legs (adding 20lbs with a dumbell)

23 reverse crunches

40 sec of jumping jacks

 

BONUS

I meditated for 15 minutes after the workout. Oh, how I miss you meditation :)

Feb 20th

Desserts: grape and 3 bread slice with peanut butter :o (In yo' face Paleo.... well...)

Drinks: Water and 1 homemade fruit cocktail

That was my soft training day.

Feb 21th

 

Day of hard work and hurry...

Lunch: When to the restaurant and ate a fancy burger with cheese and french fries (that was my cheat meal of the week)

Dinner: Homemade with chicken, brocoli and tomato

Desserts: Nothing

Drinks: Water

 

TRAINING

Like I said earlier I was in a hurry.

Desserts: Two homemade oat cookies

Drinks: Water

20 minutes of running

I was able to do 1.5 pull-up. YAY. :)

Breakfast/Lunch: Went to restaurant. Ate scrambled eggs, saussages, potatoes, fruits and 2 bread slice with peanut butter

Dinner: Homemade chicken salad

Desserts: Grape and strawberry

Drinks: Water and 1 fruit cocktail this morning

 

TRAINING

3 sets of

 

16 pushups

16 squats (with a dumbell of 20lbs)

2.5 pull-ups (YAY :))

25 knee step-ups

10 hanging knee tuck

40 sec jumping jacks

10 minutes of meditation this morning

I'm looking forward to next week. It'll be 2 months of training, I want to compare pictures ^_^. I know it won't be AS awesome as the 1st month but still.

Feb 26th

 

That was not a great day... After work I had to go to meet a guy for buying a new house. After than I had friends comming at my place for a D&D game and it lasted until 10:20 pm. I had to do my lunch for tomorrow after than so I had 10 minutes for "workout" before staying to my plan to go to sleep at 11....

 

FOODS

Lunch: Saussages with a salad with carrots and mushrooms

Dinner: Went to restaurant and ate fried chicken with french fries (cheat meal of the week!)

Desserts: strawberry and banana, 1 little piece of chocolate for dinner

Drinks: Water

 

TRAINING

10 minutes of running. That was the time I had before forcing myself to go to bed.
