Lateral Planet Posted November 2, 2015 Report Share Posted November 2, 2015 This is something I've always wanted to be able to do and have never, in 24 and a half years, managed... until tonight! I was doing the warm up for tonight's workout and was doing my hip circles reaching down and realised, "Hey my fingers are pretty close to my ankles. I wonder if I could go any further..." and lo, I could. It's a minor thing, but it really feels like a milestone. I remember in PE in school when we kids were told to touch our toes it was like this thing you either could do or you couldn't. I thought it was just that my legs were too long or my tummy too chubby; it was never really made clear to me that it's a thing you can just learn to do. But now I have 7 Quote Link to comment

I was fearing it might be one of those one-off achievements, like that time I managed to put my foot behind my head as a kid. (Now that I think of it, that's gotta be my next flexibility challenge!)
