This challenge is definitely teaching me that I need to work on my abs some more. May have to incorporate that into the next challenge. May have to incorporate that into the next challenge. The V-sits are the first I couldn't do with EC, but my core is definitely strong. So on the one hand, don't see an inability to do 40 V Sits in a row as a sign that your abs are weak. Geek On Fire Posted April 13, 2016 Report Share Posted April 13, 2016 I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one rolling around like a turtle on its back doing those v ups. Give me a good plank session any day. Make sure if you're doing these for speed that you don't hyperextend your elbow. This 100%. If anyone is not familiar with a backfist strike, try to start pulling your forearm back in before it reaches the end of the motion so that your wrist and fist flick out a litle. Next time there's a balance challenge, you could always just restart, right? Totally. If you feel like repeating an exercise, there's no reason why you can't try again. Depends on the exercise though. I was working from home, so really I had all day to do it, but kept putting it off until finally it was bedtime and I just went fuckit. Alright plank rotations, here I come... I had a similar day. I thought "I have to remember to do those" several times, but never actually got around to it. I'll be adding today's cross crunches onto the end of my workout, and if I'm feeling reasonably good once I've got those done then I'll give the plank rotations a go (because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment...).
