Today's dare done with EC! This was my first one in a while, and it didn't seem very hard. I should have done those planks yesterday! Those looked fun.

What are the odds? The personal trainer (not knowing about this challenge) made me do 180 of those damn kicks in one go in my session today. So yes. Thank you. I did it. With EC.

Donkey Kicks done with EC!

Current Big Fat Hairy Goals:  Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%.  Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset.  Able to do a bodyweight bench press.  Run 10K 1/week for 1 month.  Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt.

 

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

I had a similar episode lol, I thought with ec for sure, then I started made it to too and could go no more, the most I was able to do consecutively was 3.

 

 Moving planks done, it was a hard one, those people who did it with ec, well all i can say is I have a long way to go. I got to 8 and I was ready to call it a night, but I pushed it to the 20, I didn't want to let myself down.

You know, that's exactly what this PvP is about.  Pick your target.  Push yourself because you don't want to let yourself down.  They're tough!  If you can do even one with EC, then you're rocking!  And I love that over the month, you'll know exactly what your weaknesses are, and what you might want to work on in your regular regimen.

Scissor chops done with EC.

Things that make the time go faster:

1. Music to dance to

2. Pushing your shoulders down and back, bending your knees slightly and opening your arms enough that your boobs don't get in the way

3.bad martial arts movie sound effects.

4. Shake that booty

5. 1 4M 4 R0807

6. Hulk smaaaaaaash!

7. The theory of relativity.

scissor chops completed with EC.  glad I did them before my xfit class.  today the wod was "easy" - just 100 pull ups, take as much time as you need, break them up however you want BUT every time you stop?  10 burpees.  so ugly.  so painful.  I can't even do one pull up so they had to be completed with a band and even with that modification it still took me 80 burpees to get the job done!!

Absolutely agree with all of this! Also, after the first month of the PvP I added specific core work into my gym routine, purely because I was sucking so bad at it on the dares.

Squats were a major part of my regular workout today... I did about 190 altogether, in various compound thingies (with different dumbbell lifts and whatnot). So, I jumped for 25 of them but more than that was killing me. It was 25 in a row, though... So, half of the total + EC = 1 point? *eyelash flutter* 

 

If not, I'll do 25 more later and skip the EC, ye tuff basterds.  Holding off on logging it until I get the all clear.
