After dinner my fiancée asked if I wanted tea. I told her that although I wanted tea, I didn't want to drink any tea. She laughed and asked if I planned to pour in my lap instead. I elaborated, "I'm not really craving tea right now but I still have the urge to be part of the tea after dinner tradition. It's completely weird, I know. Don't worry about it." After I spouted what I think sounds nuts, she just said, "That's okay, I'm perfectly willing to make you a tea and it can just sit there being your tea. I'm not going to make you drink it."
