You have died...would you like to load last save?

No I would not

But I won't give up...I'd rather start a new adventure with the knowledge I have. I'll keep the same name because, well because, I like the name.  :playful:

I've started and stopped this crazy get healthier deal way too many times. I always start where I left off but I'm not at the same level I was the last time I worked out. I am so far away from my last stopping point that this time, it's time to start from the beginning.

I told myself this year was going to be different. I'm turning 30 this year and where I am right now, health-wise scares me. I lost a lot of the hard work I put into myself and that pisses me off. This year I made 2 goals for myself. I want to read more and be more productive. I've done pretty good with reading but sort of lagged on the being productive part. Being productive right now is basically anything but laying on the couch and watching Netflix. I never intended this to include diet and exercise but a part of me knows that in order to be productive, I need to.

In order to start this new adventure I need to wipe the slate clean and start over. I'm wiping my stats, my sig ( :sorrow:  goodbye 13 challenges), starting out small and slow. Going to work on building good habits again and making sure I work out.

Steps to a new adventure :

1. Acquire a FitBit for tracking steps and for motivation.  - Done. I've had it for 3 days now and it's all very new.

2. Go to the Gym. - Done. I went to the gym on Saturday for the first time in 8 months. It was tiring and I hurt a little during, but it was worth it.

3. Cut back on soda. - I reached 15 days without drinking soda! Now I just need to keep that going.

4. Track what you are eating. - I have always hated tracking my food but it's been a long year+ where I have not cared. I need a reminder on what I'm actually putting into my body. That one meal at McDonald's is how many calories?? I started up myfitnesspal again and have a streak of 6 days!

5. Get back on NerdFitness. - I've missed NF and reading the forums. I might not participate as much but it's a constant motivator coming to this site.

I'm starting over again...that sounds really scary but I'm going to do it.

You got this Jonesy!

Starting over sucks I'm on a respawn (of sorts) of my own right now. For me the hardest part is going from 'knowing' to ;doing; but it sounds like you're off to a good start keep it up. :)

Thank you! I agree that is a hard spot. Like I can plan and research what I need to do but putting into action can be daunting. Good luck on your own respawn. ☺
