Down to XL!!

Recommended Posts

Hey there!

I just wanted to share in the awesomeness that is losing weight!  This weekend I realized I was able to actually wear a shirt, buttoned up, that was an XL!  I haven't been able to do that (and not look like an stuffed and plump bratwurst) in years!  My wife even reminded me that I used to wear that shirt as an over-shirt unbuttoned before we were married, over 6 years ago :)

Sometimes the number on the scale just isn't enough.  I'm still hovering on the "tight" side, but I'm so excited to actually see a result that means something!

Good job!

Its moments like that that make keeping a few items of clothing from more svelte times worth the hassle :)

Thank you!

Exactly!  And for me, I almost threw it all out, because (and this is coming from a guy) I was disgusted with myself for not being able to fit into anything I used to own.  I'm happy to be making a change for the better :)

Thanks for all the encouragement!!  :D  At my largest I was a XXXL and that was comfortable.  I'm happy to have this problem of swimming in my clothes... heck, all my pants have to be held up with a belt! (I don't have to drill holes in it yet, not THAT awesome, but getting there!)

I treated myself to an XL NF Shield Tee to mark never going back to XXL (and extra fatty charge of $2) again! :)

I've said many times, getting back into old clothes feels even better than buying new smaller clothes.  Congratulations!

My self-worth, beauty, strength, and overall awesomeness is not defined by numbers.

That's awesome! Good job :D I've found fitting into smaller clothes to be a huge motivation for me.
