thatgirljj
Arm-over-arm climb. It's only about 5-6 feet, but for me this is a MAJOR accomplishment. I think my goal for the next challenge is to take it to 10 feet. (Also crossposted to my personal blog... but hot damn I'm proud of it, so I'm going to spread it around.) NF: Treedwelling assasin. thatgirljj
Thanks everybody! I've been working at this kind of thing for over 2 years now, so it's really cool to be at the point where I can try something new and just be strong enough to do it, rather than having to train for each and every little acheivement. :-DThat's so cool! How did you find a circus arts school? There may just not be any around here, but its possible I'm not looking correctly. How far are you from Oklahoma City? It looks like there's a professional troupe there, you might contact them and see if they know anyone in your area. Things like rope climbs you might be able to work on in a CrossFit gym (or on a playground, you can google instructions to make a climbing rope). But if you actually want to learn circus, you need a competent instructor or it can be dangerous.-jj NF: Treedwelling assasin. Druidish leanings. Gnome. IRL: Amateur circus geek. Mad cook. Mom.
