Not sure how far you are supposed to lift yourself for them but think I got it right? Not with EC, not a chance. So I tried again tonight - done with EC! 3 Quote Current Big Fat Hairy Goals: Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%. Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset. Able to do a bodyweight bench press. Run 10K 1/week for 1 month. Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt. Why? Like with one of the previous balance ones, I found balancing on my left leg easier than on my right. I can't really get my leg up to the 90° angle without bending it a little or hurting myself (by actually swinging it up further than is comfortable) so I just went as high as I could. No EC, way too many balance issues. But I liked this exercise! The best thing about this PvP is that it's helping me identify those motions and muscle groups that I'm missing in my daily regimen currently. I do climbers all the time at the dojo, so climbers are no problem. I do lower ab work never, so V-ups are brutal. The twist crunches weren't fun either, because I don't do a lot of oblique work. I think, though, that if I add bicycle crunches into my regular workouts, that will fix both of those in one movement. I recently learned balance planks, in which you plank on one hand and the opposing foot, which are pretty killer, too. Current research indicates that crunches and situps set you up for lower back problems down the track, so I try to avoid them where possible. I second the planks nomination.
