So I am up a huge amount this week, which I was expecting given that I went away for the weekend. Eating and movement are never on point when we go home. I had a great weekend though and had a significant NSV when I discovered that I am two t-shirt sizes smaller at Torrid than I was in December, so I’ll take it.

I am also beginning to think that my 258 was an anomaly - I’ve seen 260 since then, but only once and the rest of the time I am hovering around 263. So maybe I celebrated too early? It doesn’t really matter, I suppose, just need to keep on keeping on.

The NSVs are far more important than any number on a scale - and even more important than that is the consistency and dedication you keep putting in. You deserve your celebration; the scale will catch up!

I did a weigh in Monday, but didn't report in. I've been battling a summer cold, complete with fever and congestion. Good times! ?

06/17: 164.0

06/24: 162.2

I attribute the difference to a post Father's Day high last week. We celebrated with friends who made ribs and we had key lime pie for dessert.  I'm not expecting this trajectory to continue.

Attempts to not go overboard with the indulgences past weekend and with the all-you-can-eat ribs at the team-building event on Tuesday, appear to have been successful!

I'm happy with holding steady, as last week I was sick. Only did one run ?. But limiting to one coffee and curbing the daytime snacks has been going mostly well!

Hiya!!

I'm late to the party, sorry. In my defense, I was on vacation at the start and then it took a week to get back into the groove of things.

I'm here now, that's what matters I suppose ?

Since I was on vacation for the start, I put my pre-vacation weight from the Friday before as my start weight. I've been bouncing around a lot but there's been some wonky things going on. My Coach and I are working through them, though. This week she said she'll increase my macros a bit to see if that helps level things out. Good news is that today for leg day I hit a high weight on every exercise so I'm still improving bit by bit! Excited to see how my body responds to a bit more fuel. Hopefully good things.

It was payday so I bought a pile of produce and have been having chlorophyll feasts more regularly. I think that is making the scale happier. I saw 258 again yesterday, but I am fine with not seeing it today as long as I know it’s out there. ;) I am still struggling with eating more than once a day and not really formatting my meal to make it a decent OMAD representation. The flip side of this is that I don’t really worry about overeating because as long as I am being reasonable, I’m not going over 2000 calories in a meal and I think my baseline is 2200 or whatever. I haven’t been tracking at all, can you tell? ? I know I should be formulating a plan for getting “better” results but I am honestly enjoying the no-stress that I have got going on right now. I might end up doing this for the summer and dialling in again come fall when all the summer produce fades and barbecuing gets paused again. We will see.

Hope you are all having an easy time sticking to your goals!

I'm calling this "break-even". It's still under my first target weight of 92 kg, so no complaints here.

Onwards to target weight 2: 88 kg???

Not surprised to see my weight up after two weeks of vacation. I'm hoping it's mostly just water retention and I'll be back down closer to my start weight next week! I'm home for the next three weeks anyway, so I'll be working hard on turning that number back around.

There's not right way to get results - taking a break and letting your body rest is just as important as sticking to a strict plan. ❤️

Almost recovered from my long weekend trip to Seattle.  I was with my college bestie and our eating habits did not mesh well.  She was a bad influence but I own my choices.  No worries though, I dropped the vacation weight very quickly but then more poor choices this weekend.  I'm hoping to get back to normal again and have the scale recover again.  I am seeing weigh ins in the 250 range so I am pretty sure today's weigh in includes some additional bloat from my weekend and am not that worried.

We officially move in 2 weeks so making an effort to eat out of the freezer.  Some of the freezer food fits my meal plan well, others don't really but we plan to get through as much as we can.

It's hard to resist bbq but it seems like this no-stress is working well enough.  Got to enjoy life too!

I've been seeing 258.x all week which is super nice. That's my 50 lb milestone and I'm happy it seems to have become my "regular" number faster than I expected. I did an InBody scan yesterday and uploaded it to my Battle Log. Roughly half of what I lost in the last month was fat, which I'll take. My inflammation is down which is also good, and I didn't lose too much muscle which is a relief considering I'm doing nothing to preserve/gain it right now.

Onwards!

I spent the greater portion of last week a full 2 pounds lighter but the weekend was a little crazy.  Birthday Dominos for Qbert's birthday on Saturday and then a birthday brunch on Sunday.  Fairly confident that sticking to my regular meal plan this week will get that number back down in the high 240's.  No batch cooking this week as this is the last week before move and the kitchen is in the process of being packed.  Will need to watch portions as we are eating leftover pizza from the weekend and ordering pasta from our fav Italian place.  There will be garlic bread.

I'm going the wrong direction. Oops. I was off track Friday-Sunday due to the Man's surgery and then my travel. Starting today, I'm back on track! I have noticed a bit more bloat in the belly region but I know I'm dehydrated and haven't been eating the healthiest (focus on protein and fiber) so hopefully it'll drop off quickly and I'll feel less puffy.

I've got meals planned/prepped for the week and a gym plan in place (with my gym buddy AKA Stepdaughter).

Down a little from last week's weigh-in, but still up from my starting weight this challenge. My goal is to be back under that starting weight before we leave for the beach in two weeks (where I'll probably gain it all back ?).

Vacation starts next week, so chances are that I'll be undoing most of the work in the coming three weeks. I'll be in "damage control" mode for a while, so I think it's best that I keep this as the last weigh-in until mid-August when I get back on the wagon again.

It's too hard to say "no" to ice cream when everybody else is having some. ?

Holding steady, which is fine. Life is hectic in vacation preparation mode.

Curious to see what the next 3 weeks bring. On the one hand, vacation diet is likely to be full of bakery goods. On the other, vacation activity isa going to be very high (lots of walking, swimming, hiking, and chasing my children).

Unsure if I will have a scale for weigh-ins. so I may be out for a bit.

Still hovering around maintenance, which is fine. It's been a busy week and losing weight isn't really my primary goal this summer. Trying not to get in my head about it even though it would have been nice for the scale to nudge down a little...
