Should you pick a leg, and do it for the whole 2 minutes?  Or 1 minute per leg?  Or 2 minutes per leg?  I've not seen any one-sided dares before today...

Current Big Fat Hairy Goals:  Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%.  Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset.  Able to do a bodyweight bench press.  Run 10K 1/week for 1 month.  Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt.

 

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

They clarified on the site - one minute per leg.  Done with EC.

Current Big Fat Hairy Goals:  Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%.  Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset.  Able to do a bodyweight bench press.  Run 10K 1/week for 1 month.  Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt.

 

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

I did it a little late - I'd already done two minutes with my right leg, and thought "this can't be right... 2 minutes on one leg for something this strenuous?"  Looked it up, and immediately did the other side.

 

My left butt cheek hurts more than my right now... maybe I should do another minute just to be safe.

I'm in. I was going to try and better my score from last time, but I can't find it anymore. So I'll go for gold again, but consider anything above 30 a win.

So far I did only half of the burpees but the push-up-jab-cross thing with extra credit (even if I was really slow, I didn't stop) and the single leg bridge hold without EC (how the hell did you hold this for two minutes on one leg?? How!?)

Sweet!  This is actually a perfect fit for me right now.  I crave variety and a shorter something every day is a better fit for me this challenge as I'd like to keep up my yoga for longer workouts.  I'm not so great at tracking, but I will give it a shot. :D  Silver for me.

 

ETA:  Today's dare done.  Clearly I needed this.  Ow! and shaky!

Good for you!  I mean, yeah, that's worth EC anyway.  2 minutes is 2 minutes, and much harder with only one leg.

 

I'm actually just realizing that 2 minutes on a single leg is why my left hamstring is going into spasm all the time now...

Angels completed with EC. My arms were burning after about a minute, and I had to slow down for a bit, but I managed to do the whole 3 minutes.

Single leg bridge done yesterday with EC. For the Angels is it supposed to be controlled at all, or literally as fast as you can (i.e. flapping around like a drugged and demented chicken)?

They say "as fast as you can" so I think you can be as much of a chicken as you want. As long as you have the general motion in there. :P 

 

These look so easy until you think about doing them for a full three minutes...

Well, I can attest to that now!

 

Chicken flaps (sorry, angels) done with EC. Pace slowed a lot about half way through though. Mrs laughing at me all the way through didn't help much either!
