idealistinfire Posted October 12, 2013 Report Share Posted October 12, 2013 So, since I started working out again over 6 months ago, I could only do 1 unmodified pushup on a good day. Then, pretty shortly, I could do 2 unmodified pushups. Months passed and a shaky third was added and barely-there 4th and there I stalled for a very long time (and those on a good day - average was still 2 solid with only modified after that). A depressingly long time. But a couple weeks ago, I jumped to 10 unmodified pushups in a row for the first time in over a decade. And then I did it again a couple days later! And then, late last week, I did 15 unmodified pushups in a row, so I know the 10 wasn't a fluke! Woot Woot! I look forward to the day when I surpass my old high school record of 50 unmodified pushups in a row with renewed confidence.
