Nerdiest Job?

So being that this is a site for nerds of all shapes, sizes, varieties, and flavors, I wonder who has the ultimate nerdy job?

I feel like I should at least be in the running. I'm a CPA (in layman's terms that's a Pencil Pusher). Not only am I a CPA, but I'm a CPA that does taxes! I know, I know. Childhood dreams do come true!

Which of you Rebels can out-Nerd me???

My last job was backend programming of real-time flight data ingestion services, but I'm sure the hardware folks 'round here (like bigm) easily out-nerd this.

My current job requires talking to people on a regular basis, so not quite as nerdy.

I work on cars and do promotions at clubs and car shows... With car model girls.... I lose.

I was doing customer service in a callcentre for 7 years dealing with people's phone problems. Reached a point where people would ask me whilst I was mid-call for specific policy rules, contract terms, phone specs etc. Stayed on the bottom rung throughout, but I ended up being almost Rain Man-esque for my co-workers.

Not nerdiest job, but the way I dealt with it probably counts...

Same here.

I don't think what I do is actually quite nerdy. I barely use any of the math and none of the physics that I needed to study in school. The hardware/electrical stuff looks much more involved than the software/web stuff.

I am, still, constantly amazed at the lack of common sense in some of these people.

As a business major, that kinda job sounds like fun. Especially since I'm taking a finance class right now and we're talking about trading and stocks and such.

For my jobs...I don't get to do any fun stuff yet since I'm still in college. Job #1 is as an English and writing tutor. Job #2 is as a waitress in a large chain restaurant.

In other words...I deal with A LOT of stupid people. Some are so stupid I don't know how they got to college. The others are so stupid I'm not sure how they had children or are still alive. ("My fish tastes FISHY!" "My /rare/ steak is way undercooked! I wanted it pink!" "I'd like a glass of Pinot Grigio" (pronounced, by them, pee-not gree-gio))

I'm a "Content Management Specialist". So, half code monkey / half sales engineer.

This means I both drink mountain dew: code red and code in the dark & slick back my hair and go used car salesman on your ass.
