It's an old fire pit we don't use since we have a camp sight now, I used to have a pane of glass over the opening until I dropped an armful of hatchets through it... Waldo Posted July 11, 2016 Report Share Posted July 11, 2016 Had time between bigger projects in the shop, so I used up some of my (ample supply of) scrap to make a planter for the house. Its my take on a midcentury modern design that was used in a couple houses in the case study program, that is replicated nowadays by Room and Board (and a few others as well, West Elm has their own take) I changed the bottom a bit so there is a hole in the center (for drainage), and curved the legs to better compliment the pot. Green (Bracelet) and Purple (Necklace, in progress) are Macrame with waxed Polyester Thread. The Brown&Gold (Bracelet) is Shuttle Tatting with Nylon Thread.
